Classification
AWS A 5.1: E 6013
Description A rutile based heavy coated electrode with excellent operating characteristics. The superior control on molten slag- metal pool enables the electrode to work at high welding speed. The electrode can be maneuvered easily in positions. The striking and restriking is very easy and slag detachability is very good. The weld deposit is having high radiographic soundness. The bead finish is very smooth and shiny.
Application Structural work, components under dynamic loading, boilers and pressure vessels, steel furniture, storage tanks, automobile bodies and frames, suitable for covering wide root gaps.
